Exclusive 2015 Tour: In the Footsteps of Wallace in the Malay Archipelago (Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia)

In September 2014 my wife Jan and I led a very enjoyable, interesting and successful (!!) three week tour to key Wallace-related places in the Malay Archipelago. We saw an amazing variety of things ranging from massive Rafflesia flowers to orangutans, from proboscis monkeys to tarsiers (pic to the right), from some of the best coral reefs in the world, to male Wallace Standardwing Birds of Paradise displaying. See the pics we took of some of these things below! Oh, and here's a video of me talking about seeing the standardwings lekking on an earlier trip to Halmahera: http://www.nhm.ac.uk/natureplus/videos/1921

The trip is run by Jon Baines Tours and Jon and I designed the itinerary together (I have now tweaked this to make it even better!). This trip is unique - there has never been a similar trip which visits all the key Wallace-related places in the Malay Archipelago before.

The 2015 tour brochure can be seen here: http://www.jonbainestours.co.uk/tour/cultural-tour?tour=106

We hope you will be able to join us!!
