Amber Beavis of the Western Australian Museum, sent me two pics of an excellent cake she made for Darwin Day 2014.
It is of course Wallace's standardwing bird of paradise (Semioptera wallacii). Click HERE for more information about this amazing species, which was discovered on the island of Bacan, Indonesia, by Wallace in 1858.
